Abstract

Salah satu indikator bayi lahir sehat adalah memiliki berat badan lahir normal. Bayi yang lahir dengan berat kurang dari 2500 gram di Indonesia tercatat sebanyak 6,2 %. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kadar hemoglobin dan indeks massa tubuh (IMT) ibu hamil terhadap berat badan bayi lahir. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh bayi yang lahir di PMB Siti Julaeha dengan sampel penelitian berjumlah 106 orang. Jenis pada penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional. Metode penelitian menggunakan data sekunder. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dari Januari-Mei 2020 di PMB Siti Julaeha Kota Pekanbaru. Analisis pada penelitian ini adalah analisis univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji Chi Square dengan derajat kepercayaan 95%. Hasil penelitian mayoritas kadar Hb pada ibu hamil normal 57 orang (53,8%). Mayoritas IMT normal 94 orang (88,7%). Tidak terdapat hubungan kadar hb ibu hamil dengan berat badan bayi lahir dibuktikan dengan P value = 0,610. Tidak ada hubungan indeks massa tubuh ibu hamil dengan berat badan bayi lahir P value = 0,599. Diharapkan pada bidan di PMB Siti Julaeha agar tetap melakukan penyuluhan tentang gizi dan screening Hb pada setiap ibu hamil. Kata kunci: Kadar Hemoglobin, IMT, Berat badan bayi lahir
