Abstract

Penyakit tonsilitis merupakan peradangan pada tonsil yang disebabkan oleh infeksi bakteri atau virus. Tanda gejala yang muncul pada penderita gastritis adalah nyeri ulu hati dan sulit menelan merupakan tanda gejala dari tonsilofaringitis. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukannya asuhan gizi untuk mempertahankan maupun memperbaiki status gizi serta mempercepat proses penyembuhan pasien. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melaksanakan asuhan gizi pada pasien Tonsilofaringitis dengan Gastritis di RS X. Subjek studi kasus ini adalah pasien anak Tonsilitis dengan Gastritis yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Pada studi kasus ini, asuhan gizi yang diberikan berupa pemberian makanan sesuai dengan diet yang diberikan dan edukasi yang sesuai dengan masalah dan kebutuhan gizi pasien. Hasil pengkajian awal pasien memiliki status gizi normal (92%) dan hasil biokimia pasien normal. Pasien mengalami nyeri ulu hati, demam, batuk, nyeri menelan, nafsu makan menurun, dan tampak lemas. Intervensi gizi diberikan berupa diet lambung II serta edukasi gizi terkait pola makan dan informasi gizi terkait penyakit yang diderita. Pada proses asuhan gizi pasien mengalami peningkatan asupan, kenaikan berat badan, dan keadaan fisik/klinis mengalami perbaikan. Diharapkan pasien mampu menerapkan gizi seimbang dan mengurangi konsumsi makanan yang pedas. Tonsillitis is an inflammation of the tonsils caused by bacterial or viral infections. Signs of symptoms that appear in people with gastritis are heartburn and difficulty swallowing are signs of symptoms of tonsillopharyngitis. Therefore it is necessary to do nutritional care to maintain and improve nutritional status and accelerate the healing process of patients. The purpose of this study was to carry out nutritional care in Tonsillopharyngitis patients with gastritis in Hospital X. The subject of this case study was Tonsillitis pediatric patients with gastritis who were selected by purposive sampling. In this case study, nutrition care provided in the form of feeding according to the diet provided and education in accordance with the patient's nutritional problems and needs. Preliminary assessment results of patients have normal nutritional status (92%) and normal patient biochemical results. Patients experience heartburn, fever, cough, painful swallowing, decreased appetite, and appear weak. Nutrition intervention is given in the form of a gastric diet II and nutrition education related to diet and nutritional information related to the illness. In the process of nutritional care the patient has increased intake, weight gain, and physical / clinical condition has improved. It is hoped that patients will be able to apply balanced nutrition and reduce consumption of spicy foods.
